Great obsevation Mkr. If only drug dealers would knock on our doors and offer free pot. They actually used to give it out in the 60's. It was called a token of peace. Hence the word toke.
Perhaps if the watchtower printed their magzines on compressed weed, their would be a revolution. They'd be smokin their magazines instead of reading them, but too lazy to wake up at 6:00 AM, to do their stoned delivery at your door. At least they'd make more sense, than they do now.

Oh I get it Berean. I thought those questions were being asked, to engage people, in a meaningful exchange. My mistake. I was never really good at small talk, but I guess it's an artform. I don't mind a bit of banter.
My suggestion ( only a suggestion) " if you want a fluff thread, don't ask profound questions. John Doe and Min are experts and can teach you. They can also switch to intellect mode when they want, but you can usually tell when they do.

Sorry man. I wasn't tryin to corner you. You don't even have to answer. These are just conclusions I have reached myself though thinking and observation. These are answers that work for me. I was hoping you might give some feedback debate, agree, disagree. If you do not wish to go deeper that's fine. But whats the point of asking questions then. It's just that I see similarities between you and I, but I didn't mean to be personal or preachy. I thought you could handle it, cuz your questions are good. Perhaps I'm just too forward. There was no harm intended. I wasn't implying you are a sociopath, I'm just digging because of my curiuos nature.
Ok. So does this mean you don't see any universal truths? I myself hold onto a truth, until a better argument comes along. I have no problem with bowing to anyone who presents better logic. I'm really a nice guy.
I've said this before but I'll say it again. If you don't know who you are, what you want, or what you beleive in, people will tell you, who you are what you want, and what you beleive in. It is a power vacuum. I was only trying to share my logic. How can you get respect, if you don't have any opinion?
If you don't like what I said, disagree. But give me a reason why? Too personal? Fine. I won't waste my intelligence and debating skills on someone who doesn't appreciate the immense personal suffering I went through, to know what I know. Do you think I actually give a shit. I'm not God. I can learn from you too. Do you not know, what debating is?
If you come here on threads, asking questions and seeking help, then when people tell you what they think, you accuse them of being preachy. Thats pretty low. Why even bother with therapy?
Did you not notice in the other threads you made. I said, I don't know you. They were only suggestions, designed to make you look inside yourself, for insight and answers that Might apply to you. That is where the real answers will ultimately come from.

That's why cults prosper my friend. If you fill your head with anything other than reality, you will have no tools to work with in the real world. ( Disassociation) How far does this go into the realm of dellusion. Above all else be true to yourself. Unless hope has a basis in truth, it enters the realm of fantasy, or wishful thinking.
If you had a son, and he was dying would you want the truth? Or would you rather the doctors told you everything was fine? If you were told the truth, there might be something you could do. Even say that you love him before he croaks. I beleive that that as painful as the truth might be, in the end, you will have more to work with. You seem like a smart fellow. I like your questions.
I know very intelligent people who have deluded themselves. They can change reality in an instant in their heads to suit them. Then they wonder why people get pisssed off at them.
The governing body have created their own reality. They can survive well this way, because they have sealed off the rest of the world and surrounded themselves with people who think the way they do. That doesn't mean they won't be reaping what they sow.
Your questions are revealing. I wonder if someday, I won't throw in the towel and settle for hope.
If fear is more important to you than love, does that make you a sociopath?

Fear is a form of respect. For the enemy this will do. Listened to, is another form of respect. This is the middle. Being desired, does this mean envied? If it means loved. That's what I want. Desired can also mean worshiped. I don't want that if, that's what you mean.
Here's a question for you Be. What's more important to you. Truth or hope?

andWhat I'm saying is.... you might have post traumatic stress disorder, because of an underlying condition that made living in a cult mindset, a breaking point. We are all unique. It's just adding insult to injury. The difficult part is to imagine, what you would have been like with the abscence of witness insanity. Some people are convinced totally it is religion, but there are plenty of people, who are born, that are loners and depending on the cards you get it can help you or hurt you. ( family included)
Making distinctions, Harsh conditions don't always produce sickness. Why does it make some stronger and it breaks others. " From the gutters have come saints and from the lofty preisthood, devils.
